"Barcelo Aruba is a very nice place but the all inclusive part is a little over rated. One thing I noticed is that after the lobby lounge bar finished a bottle of liquor they wouldn’t open a new bottle that night. I think that was really cheap on there part being that you have a place that’s pretty much fully occupied. "This is not a place for everyone. A very pleasant chalet style house within easy walking distance of everything in Oranjestad. Need a car (about $500 for two weeks to get round the island. Far more interesting than staying in an anonymous hotel and only 2 minutes from the sea. Fred, the owner, was charming and very helpful. So don't stay there if you want pampered luxury, do if you want to explore a fascinating place"

"Excellent location for diving and yet off the main road. Nice and close to the best fresh rolls too. Really loved having a sofa to watch t.v. In the studio instead of just lounging on the bed. Everything you need included in kitchen. Zumba responded immediately if anything was needed. Lots of extra towels provided. Didn’t use pool except to put feet in, looked great. Loved the hammock on porch to nap on. Only negative was bed was a little hard. Would go back again if could!"
