"Orbit In is for anyone seeking a throwback to the mid century modern era. It is an older property with fairly basic amenities. Stayed in the Albert Frey room which had a fireplace, outdoor shower, and record player. Bed was comfortable. There is a cocktail hour by the pool. Staff was very nice. No breakfast included. There is a small hot tub and fire pit for winter nights. Great location and very walkable to most of downtown Palm Springs. "

The Willows is on the upper end of the hotel price, but it is so worth it. "I cannot say enough good things about The Cactai. This place is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are clean, really well appointed, and spacious. I had a couple things I needed help with and the owners were extremely responsive and friendly. The pool area is immaculate and quiet and the location is so close to great coffee and food. This is the perfect solo retreat and I’d recommend it to anyone! "

"Great hotel that’s been newly renovated. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into this hotel and we had a really great stay here. Really nice room and the pool area was great and really quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Palm Springs.
