Room & staff were amazing!!! However, this place charges $30 to let people use their parking garage! I parked in the parking garage outside of Deus Luxe and it was mayyyyybe a 5 minute walk & $10. They should really lower it to something that's not ridiculous for downtown Des Moines.

We love staying here annually for the DSM art festival. It’s close to the festival and easy to walk around DSM. Their rooms are great sizes and spacious for families and we love having the option of the pool.

Room for improvement.

Our room 512 wasn't clean. There were someone else's sandles that were in the closet, there was strangers hair stuck to the shower walls, the tub wouldn't drain, the toilet seat was loose, then I spotted a chocolate chip along one of the walls in the room. Then the other room had what looked like cat food back in one of the corners. The staff was very friendly and kind the breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Good coffee. We just expected more out of the rooms.
