"The hotel is centrally located in the city of Derry with large clean modern rooms. The bar is essentially the pub next door, which is quite busy. There aren't any real hotel amenities eg lobby or gym, so i did find it tricky without room servi e late at night. Nonetheless in normal hours it is great and comfortable place to stay."

"We arrived a little early to this magnificent property. We were welcomed in to the beautiful sitting room to wait for our room to be ready. Such lovely helpful staff, and so friendly and welcoming. The room was amazing, and we also spent time in the sitting room in the evening, playing cards with the fire kindly lit for our benefit. This is a little piece of the history, well worth a stay to experience it."

"Hotel was in a great location and was nice. The room was too hot with no way to cool it down and the view was of a wall even though I paid for a room that was above the base level"

"This was the best place we have ever stayed. Staff was incredible! Went above and beyond to care for us and make our stay as confortable as possible. The breakfast was delicious, and amazing. Would stay here over and over again. And hopefully will! Nowhere else I’d recommend."

"Schönes Hotel, gepflegte Anlage.Parkplatz in der Nähe und man zahlt statt 12 Euro nur 6 Euro/ Nacht. Frühstücksbuffett eher für irischen Geschmack ausgerichtet, aber auch ordentlich andere Lebensmittel zur Auswahl. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel empfand ich als steif und aufgesetzt freundlich. Wenig hilfsbereite Menschen."

"Very nice, new, modern hotel. The staff is super helpful. I shorted out the outlet plugs in the room, and the staff was able to fix the issue quite quickly. Also, the wifi is super fast. I was able to do a Zoom meeting with no issues. I would stay here again. Great location."

"The shower head is fixed to wall above shower screen doors,so when you take a shower the head of shower was spraying everywhere which I didn’t realise it was wetting my clothes that I was putting on and wash bag.this was room 105 I told them this but poor apology. I bet this will not be fixed "

"Good and not so good. Great central location for touring Derry with good food & local trad music in nearby pubs. Price is reasonable. We were a party of 4 adults and had 2 ‘deluxe’ twin rooms with shared kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped for continental breakfast. Both bathrooms are updated. Lots of hot water. Room comfort was only moderate. Mattress was soft, bedframe fabric was frayed at bottom edge toward floor and single window looking into a smokers’ courtyard was covered in bird...

"The hotel is under refurbishment (however it has halted and 3 years in no work was being undertaken during our stay). The room was a family room (as I was travelling with my daughter and grand daughter) and can only be described as grubby...the walls and the furniture both dirty. The bathroom skirting dirty with dust. In the recent heat we were provided with a totally inadequate fan, replaced after a conversation with the manager. In fairness he understood our disappointment with the "surprise"...
