"Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking."

"We loved our stay at The Bull at Foolow! We had the family suite for a family of four adults - it was a huge space, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, living room (with very comfortable seating) and two large bedrooms. There was great natural light, with a beautiful view of the hills at the back of the pub. Parking was very easy, with a back entrance for folks staying over. Breakfast was great, with options for everyone. They were also very accomodating, and Wendy who served us was super lovely! She was always helpful and chatty and gave us some great tips/recommendations. The rooms were very clea, comfortable beds and a good shower. We would definitely recommend staying here! More to flag then I reason not to stay - the back windows are above the kitchen so sometimes there's an unpleasant smell if the windows are open. Also, the bedrooms are above the pub so on a Saturday night it can be quite loud - this didn't bother us, but if you're light sleepers, keep that in mind."

"If you need a couple of nights away in the Peak District, The Blind Bull is a great getaway. Most of the rooms are in a building a mere 25 paces from the door of the bar! For dog owners choose one of the ‘pig’ rooms as there is a little gravel garden. The owners have thoughtfully provided a little bin outside for any bags. We ate both nights at the pub and you can see why the place is highly rated. It is so much more than ‘pub’ food. A lovely crafted menu and a great wine list. Breakfast is excellent with quality over quantity. Top tip is to make a booking for a table as the place gets really busy. All the staff we came across were polite friendly and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Brooke, Jane Bond and David the manager."
