"This is the sixth time we have stayed here so not just a one off or one eyed view of this resort.
From the second we arrived to the minute we left the resort was totally different. The quality of service, the rooms, the food and overall feel has dropped dramatically. We had a suite, it was not clean, leaked and poorly maintained. Broken fittings, missing equipment, failing wall material (plasterboard, paint and rendering). Mouldy grout, badly stained surfaces, faecal stains on the lounge. Access to the room was poor, construction work occurring leaving the access areas filthy. Management silent when asked questions. Offer another room that had twice as many leaks. We have stayed at this resort 6 times over the past 2-3 years, roughly six months apart. Absolutely last time. Double charge for the room, overdrawing our travelling account, told it was my fault, In the end I would sincerely cautions anyone that has strayed before not to expect the same service or level of any type you have experienced before. Look elsewhere. "

"A truly exceptional stay in Sanur
Griya Santrian exceeded my expectations in every way.
From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, polished, and consistently professional. The staff struck the perfect balance of attentive without being intrusive. Every interaction felt genuine and welcoming.
The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds are lush and peaceful, and the beachfront setting is ideal. There is a walking and biking path that runs directly along the beach and connects to the hotel, which makes it incredibly convenient to explore Sanur. You can easily walk or bike to restaurants, cafés, shops, and massage spots right from the property.
The pools are lovely, the beach access is seamless, and the entire atmosphere feels relaxed yet refined.
The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Everything felt cared for and well managed — it’s clear this hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards.
After several weeks traveling through Southeast Asia and staying in a range of hotels, this was easily one of the best experiences of my trip. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali."
