A nice reasonable price bit hardly find the parking near our location. Overall, it was a nice experience! Katherine, who checked us in, was nice and knowledgeable!
Being able to get picked up for tours was very nice
Monitoring northern lights and notifying guests when visible was very nice
Staff were friendly and helpful
Room was fine, only problem was the window did not close all the way and latch
When we arrived for check in, they informed us there currently wasn’t power to our building where our room was located and gave us dinner vouchers. By the time we were finished shopping gift shop and enjoying dinner, we were able to go straight to our room and had no further issues. Very clean and very spacious.
Dinner at the restaurant was amazing!
We had the building next to the restaurant and every 25-30 minutes a worker would come out and empty their garbage and slam the lid shut on the big garbage bin. We didn’t get much sleep. They were still cleaning up long after the restaurant closed.
Great experience. Clean rooms. Very helpful staff. They provide shuttle to train dept and took care of the luggage transfer. There was restaurant in the village .
Pleasant, courteous staff.
Spacious room.
Limited plug points.
Bathroom has a very noisy fan.
Location is great for easy access to Denali National Park.
This was a great place. It was close to rhe National Park but had some amenities on site. We dis the dinner show and it was very entertaining. The rooms are a bit small but there is so much to do that being in your room hardly seems appropriate. Would stay here again.
Nenana river behind cottages offer stunnibg views. Restaurant on property had decent food. Friendly staff. No AC in the room. There is a portable fan. We had to keep.the window open so eye mask is a must.
Room good. Did not like only having the choice of Buffet Breakfast only.
Do not like to eat a big breakfast.

The facility sits on a gorgeous piece of property with a river running behind it, a walking path, and an education center that can be used by young and old to study the surrounding area. Our room was old, blinds were tattered, it was however clean.
Very nice place. Shuttle gives 6 mile ride to Denali National Park, but has shuttle service from hotel only at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 2:00, 5:00. No Uber or Taxis are available. Food is somewhat limited as there isn’t much other than the lodge restaurant and burger place. Food is mediocre and somewhat expensive. Thai food truck and Chinese food truck at the Denali Bear across the street is excellent.

Loved being on the river! Front desk said we were on 1st floor but our room was actually on 2nd floor. We didn’t have any hot water at 8:30 in the morning to shower. Nice lobby area but restaurant/bar was only open till 9:00. We ended up having to go elsewhere to eat a late dinner. Overall it was a good place and would stay there again

The hotel has just opened for the season. Staff is less experienced and goofed up with our checkin money transaction and also our transfer to railway station. The shuttle left us and went with our luggage. All though they sent a special van to drop us. House keeping is not available on day to day basis. Though the hotel is good. Very nicely made and located but they need improvement in some areas. Also we are vegetarian and it would be good if they have some more vegetarian options.
Front desk staff were my least favorite staff members. The food servers were a 10 out of 10 and the true stars of DPV. There should be a late shuttle run in the evening too, past 8pm. Add Eggs Benedict to the menu and spaghetti noodles too for kids. I don’t know of a kid who likes linguine pasta, which is the only option they offer. DPV needs to invest in an onsite backup generator too. Both power and water went out during my stay; I wasn’t offered a credit on my bill for the inconvenience it caused—I had four occupants in my room! The puzzles in the lobby should be Alaska themed. And why would you stock a gift shop with products made in China! Find USA made products!!! Maybe add a cigar bar onsite.
This is a large but charming hotel not far from the Denali national park. There are a few onsite restaurant options and many picnic tables in the “miner’s camp.” Even though there are many buildings, the layout is such that it feels like it is a smaller place. There are things for children to do as well as entertainment for adults.
There are no refrigerators in the room, but there are nearby ice dispensers.
Although we drove ourselves, there seemed to be shuttle service to park and other adventures.
I would highly recommend this place.
