"We loved how the hotel was right on the beach! Very modern room that was clean and comfortable! We stayed in the king size bed room on the 2nd floor. There isn’t an elevator, but the stairs are wide and easy to climb. There is a nice balcony with chairs and high table to put a drink on and relax!There also a small refrigerator great for keeping our drinks cold! You have access to the beach. For a nice walk in the sand barefoot while watching the sunrise! We needed a recommendation for dinner and we asked the manager who said he recommended Woody’s Crab Shack! It was a nice walk nearby and there’s lots of stores and restaurants. It definitely was delicious! It was busy, but it was Mother’s Day weekend. The view of the beach was amazing! The staff was very helpful for anything we needed! Woke up to a nice regular coffee and and overnight oatmeal and fruit and bagels in the lounge. There was also beer and cucumber water and appetizers in the lounge at 5pm. . There is a neppesso machine , I’m not a fan. It was a great set up though, my daughter told me when I sent her a pic lol l. We only stayed 1 night on our way to NJ. We can’t wait to go back again, this time for a few days! Looking forward to seeing you in the Fall!"

"Comfortable bed, nice sized room with very clean bathroom. Only complaint that's keeping this from being five stars is the middle window of the three large vertical windows of my beach view room was 85% covered in moisture / what looked like mold starting to grow inside. Clearly rain or some type of water got behind one of the panes. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel it was an easy, relaxing overnight stay."

"This hotel is spacious and clean, offering a hot buffet breakfast for free and an indoor, heated salt pool. The parking is ample and you can walk to the pizza shop or sandwich deli. Because it is on the east side of route 1, you can access Lewes, the ferry, or Cape Henlopen state park without getting into traffic on route 1. Midweek prices are very fair, especially off-season. The staff is friendly and welcoming."
