"The room was very musty, and there was hair on the shower wall when we arrived. Two people in my party left with sinus and ear infections. I think most of this was due to the age of the property, but some updating to the systems (HVAC, etc) would make it a much more comfortable stay."

"Historic! Beautiful Sunset views. Nice staff."

"Clean rooms, polite staff, and a great location. The check-in process was smooth and quick. Highly recommended."

"Lovely stay in Mount Dora, perfect location, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again."

"Easily accessible from road. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good."

"Large clean room. Lovely grounds. Plenty of eating options to choose from."

"Good place to stay, may use again. My room had fridge, microwave but no iron(didn't need it) and no hair dryer(needed it). Restroom cleanliness is number one to me and it was clean. No breakfast. Keep this in mind because I saw platforms where it was marked "breakfast". There is coffee and tea in the lobby though. So bring your bagel and you are good. And there are a lot of places to eat close by. The downside - unstable Wi-Fi. Constantly loosing it and that can be frustrating if you need to do...

"Everything was great but the water that comes out the shower head is crazy. And the toilet handle had to really be held down to flush. Staff were very friendly."

"The room needs painted shower rod rusted hall way needs work. Out side terrace needs new chairs and clean cob webs."

"Nita at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The hotel is very close to Tavares historic district and beautiful waterfront."

"Room was clean. No coffee maker, no iron or ironing board, TV only had a few channels, breakfast was TERRIBLE. Only bread and some corn flakes and no milk. You couldn’t get coffee until they unlocked the door at 7:00 AM. No table in room if you brought takeout food to eat. People outside room at 3:30-4:00 AM very loud. Great parking and air conditioning."

"The owner was so kind! Unfortunately our room was not clean and the pool had a green tinge in it."

"It was cheap and it looked it"
