Excellent, comfortable stay! Only complaint is there’s no adult friendly pool. The only maintenance issue was functional - the shower tap is installed backwards and upside down. Staff was excellent!

The rooms were very updated and very clean. The only trouble we ran into is that there was a fire alarm that went off in the middle of the night but I can't fault the hotel for that I don't know what exactly was going on.

Overall, the stay was great. The sports bar had decent food, the burgers were good, desserts great, and the wings looked really good. The room was clean and was overall pretty quiet. The trolley comes twice and hour and will get you downtown for a $2 fee each way. It was nice not having to drive downtown and figure out parking.

Nice place to stay-very convenient location to all the areas you would like to explore if you have a car! Trolley runs to Deadwood for minimal charge! Breakfast is good-just watch charging-we had an issue with one server who failed to properly count our discount tickets.

My wife and I took our 12 year old son there for a few days. He has severe autism/ADHD. The water park pool area was perfect. He loves water and we felt safe letting him be free to do what he wants (with supervision of course). The beds were really comfortable. As a matter of our son spent A LOT of time in his bed. Something he normally doesn’t do. He’s non verbal but the look on his face told us how comfortable he was. 😆 The lodge is a very short distance to Deadwood. The trolly 🚎 picks you up at the lodge and takes you downtown which is convenient. The food at the restaurant was also very good. We will definitely stay again.
