Perfect secluded location to relax and unwind

Fabulous hidden treasure along the Whale coast, staff were all so friendly and breakfast was simply delicious. Highly recommend if you want a few days of tranquility away from busy Cape Town.

This is a beautiful, intimate establishment in paradise. Breath-taking views from the room by day and stunning night sky is enchanting. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

I didn’t get the chance to stay at Sea Star Cliff, but I wish I had. The place looked incredible from everything I researched. The views over De Kelders are unreal, the rooms look spacious and thoughtfully designed, and the whole vibe feels peaceful and luxurious without trying too hard. The communication with the team was helpful and professional, which only made me more excited. Definitely planning to make it back and experience it properly next time.

Perfekt för att kolla in valar under säsongen

Hotellet har ett fantastiskt läge och måste vara perfekt under valsäsongen. Fina rum, flera med balkong. Trevliga omgivningar. Nackdelen är att det finns få restauranger i närheten så det kräver bil när man vill åka och äta.

Amazing !

Très bel endroit, face à la mer. Chambre spacieuse et très confortable. Pour cause de plongée avec le grand blanc, nous n’avons pas pu prendre de breakfast. En compensation notre hôte nous a permit de revenir en chambre après la plongée pour prendre une douche. Il était presque 12h. Je recommande fortement

Das Haus ist ein einziger Traum.

Wir waren 4 Nächte hier in diesem Traumhaus. Das Ambiente lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten eine tolle Wohnung auf dem Pooldeck. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, tolles, luxuriöses Bad und riesen Terasse direkt zur Walker Bay. Die Managerin Kate super freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein tolles Frühstück mit frisch gebratenen Eiern und Pancakes. Frisches Obst, alles sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Nachmittags gibt es Obst und Kaffee un Kuchen. Ich würde immer wiederkommen!

Great location and beautiful rooms

Apparently the room type that I booked was nonexistent upon arriving at the hotel. Tired and just looking to relax, I didnt feel like arguing with the onsite hotel manager. I agreed to rent an additional room and asked for the going room rate, which was $250. To be fair, I offered to take the additional room for $200 a night- spending two nights at $400 total. Plus the room I had already booked and paid for on Expedia. What I found very odd was that the onsite hotel head manager said I had to pay in cash and could not use the credit card I pulled out of my wallet to pay with. I had to find an ATM and give him $400 in cash for the additional room. Working in the hotel industry, I knew the hotel was not booked up for those two nights and I found it very odd that he said he would need cash for both nights. AS a hotel manager, I would never ask for cash and tell someone no credit card. I question if he told his owner that he comp the additional room and kept the cash for himself or some of the cash. I absolutely loved the hotel and location and would stay there again but would ensure I booked the room with two twin beds and validate in writing directly from the hotel that they had that room type. Just very suspicious of the onsite hotel manager.

Manager demanded extra charges for the room

Very bad hotel staff, demanded extra payment from us when we arrived for check in at the night hours. We had booked for 2 people stay in their penthouse luxury suite, but apparently their Manager said that in his system it was showing 1 adult. He kept pressurizing us and since it was night hours we had to pay him the difference charge for the night.

Dolphin watching over breakfast

We stayed in the penthouse, which is incredibly roomy with a great outdoor terrace (shared with the other room on the top floor). Absolutely fantastic views from the room, highlighted by watching dolphins in the bay while having breakfast. We also had dinner one night and it was the best meal we had on our week long Garden Route trip. Location is convenient to visit either Hermanus (and the wine farms nearby) or to go to Gansbaai for shark diving.

Sehr schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer aus.

Das b and b ist sehr neu und modern. Frühstück war auch reichhaltig. In Gansbaii am Abend ist jedoch sehr wenig los.
