"Very big room. Slightly outdated, but everything was clean and what we needed. Stayed on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator so beware if bringing large or heavy luggages. Did not hear the neighbors through the walls, but can hear people walking in the hallway and noises from loud cars. "
"There are no shops nor restaurants near the property. However the hotel offers on site dining and has a shuttle that will take you to the Colonade Station where there are many stores and restaurants. Cannot say
enough kind words about the desk staff."
"The Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets."
