Stayed here for a Local Convention

This placed served my purposes perfectly - There were a few things off: Only one parking space, only one access card, the smell of smoke, and the window view of a homeless park HOWEVER, I walked everywhere I needed for the week: Convention center, 7-11, etc. They had a nice pool and workout center. I couldn't beat the price either...

We thought this property would match our family's needs for a spring break trip. Its location is great, in the downtown area. And looked like it would accommodate us well. We arrived to find a very unfortunate sight of a couch and loveseat. We took photos and tried to call all available numbers to the property to no avail. Not one answered call for two days straight that we tried. The couches and chairs provided were in awful condition. The place was spacious but dirty. Beds in our unit were the worst. We also had a view of a large population of homeless people. Besides the valet and location of the building, nothing else was impressive of this particular stay.

Clean but....

The place was nice all in all and whoever does the cleaning of the property. There's high praises. It is a residential complex versus a hotel which is not a problem with us. The unit itself had some damages to the walls which we noted. Pawn check in and sent a email to the property corporation but never received a response from them. When we tried to watch TV the remote control which was missing the battery cover did not work. We thought maybe it just needed new batteries. So I went to the little convenience store and purchased batteries. But again it still did not work. It probably needs to be replaced with one that works. The bed is a little squeaky however, I think that could be because of the fact that it's laying directly onto the concrete floor, so there's nothing to keep it from sliding around. That is not an issue or a complaint. Just a observation. It does seem as if it may be time for an upgrade to the mattress as it seems to lean in more towards the center. The sofa also does the same thing.

Nice apartment - very spacious

It was a nice apartment. The initial check in is awkward but once you get past that it's all good. The location isn't in the best area but it's an easy walk to the convention center and downtown.

Clean but unwelcoming stay

The apartment had plenty of amenities (kitchen, washer and dryer) but felt a bit like sleeping in a warehouse or a jail, a fully concrete and austere setting, with nearly unsleepable mattresses, hard, could feel spring through them in both the main room, and especially the front room pull out bed.

Complicated, but good location.

I found the security and personal information checks before getting an entry code over the top and time consuming. The entry system without any person available was a concern for me. The apartment was spartan, no carpets, very industrial decor. Location was great, but I wouldn't book again.

Don’t stay here!

Horrible check in process. Awful smell in apartment. Room was not ready. Very uncomfortable atmosphere in the apartment. Pictures were not the same at all!!!! Don’t stay here.

Lock box outside the property was broken. Didn’t know this until halfway through my stay. So anyone could have came in and taken my stuff and they wanted me to leave the key in the lockbox even if I was in the property. Found that very unnerving.

We arrive and there is no one in the lobby. They have a 300 dollar deposit to send you by mail the room number and the Door Code and that email arrived around 2 in the morning, bad service but to collect the deposit alone busy 2 seconds

You only get 2 parking spots in the valet. Also the valet only was annoying, wish you could just park your own car and grab your own car. The entire building had a very musty smell, so make sure you take some air freshener. The elevators were very slow so make sure you always leave with enough time and aren’t in a rush. The condo itself was clean and served it’s purpose for its stay. You definitely get what you pay for.

There is a lot of construction being done on the property, so we probably just timed it wrong. However, there were holes in the walls in the drywall and we didn’t have a working shower. Again, may have been bad timing on our part.

We were denied entry at the hotel. The phone contact number lead us to a remote agent who kept repeating the same useless and invalid information. He asked for a form to be filled and sent. No such form was sent to us, and no form mentioned as requirement for the stay.

They wouldnt answer calls for anything we needed help with. There was no remote for the tv and we asked for one and they never brought it. We waited 3 days for toilet paper. Outlets didnt work. It was awful.

Property was in a poor part of Dallas. Heavy presence of homelessness. It was unsafe to walk to restaurants. Condo need some TLC. Bathroom needed repair to missing tiles in shower floor. Furniture in living room was old and worn. Picture on website did not reflect our condo. Positive: We were on the ninth floor and were able to enjoy the lights of downtown.
