"Rooms quite shabby. One of the beds was broken. Breakfast terrible - reheated scrambled egg, no coffee or tea. Didn’t turn up to pick us up from train so had to walk there with our cases"

"I had an inside room with no window. It was dark and the only way to get natural light was to open the curtain facing a sitting area--very exposed. The room temperature could not be regulated. There was no thermostat. It was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. No bottled water was provided as is customary in Mexico. "

"There was someone to meet us at the train station to help with our luggage and provide transportation to the hotel. Clean quiet room. Very nice bed. Reception was quick and efficient. "

Hotel does need some upgrades to amenities and condition of rooms considering the price but the view and location are some compensation at least. Thank you for a wonderful stay"

"La Troje de Adobe about a 2 block walk from the center of town and that makes it quieter than the downtown hotels esp at night. The owner, Memo, who speaks good English, is a great host who will help you in every way that he can and can arrange local tours. The only slight downside are his rather unique stairs, which were hard on us seniors. "
