For international travels to Brazil, if only one of the parents is travelling with the child, she/he must present – in addition to the child's certificate of birth and identity card with photo – a letter authorising the trip signed by the other parent with a notarial certification of signature. In the event that the parents or the legal guardian, as applicable, cannot or are unwilling to give this authorisation, a judicial authorisation is required. People who intend to travel to Brazil with children must consult with the Brazilian consulate before travelling for more information.

The overall location is great very walkable with lots of shops and dining options but we found the hotel to be poorly maintained and dirty with bugs. Our room had dirty sheets and mold in the shower dead bugs and hair on the floor. Looks nothing like the pictures on Expedia. There are signs all over that says they will be remodeling soon, i hope this is true because the have a great location and staff.
The original room I was supposed to stay in was dirty so they put me in a room with single beds. The next night I was placed in a room which reflected what I had selected. It was dirty as well. When I complained at check out they only said they would let housekeeping know.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The room was spacious and comfortable but all the staff is to old
This hotel is exactly what you pay for. It is in a safe area more or less and right near busses and the Tourist bus a few blocks away. The only staff member who "speaks English" BARELY speaks English.... so that was a bit annoying. Can't say they were the friendliest either....
The breakfast was fabulous though, I'll give them that.
The room was basic. A bed, a side table, and a "desk". I'm pretty sure the mattress hadn't been changed in ages but at least the pillow didn't smell.
