"The single negative Is that we ordered pizza we wanted to eat in bed but they then didn’t have any., Other than that, staff were polite and friendly, especially the ladies on reception in both the hotel and the pool on Wednesday evening. "Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go. Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."

"The receptionist that checked us in was very abrupt and rude. We only got answers after a more senior receptionist was involved and could answer our questions. The biggest issue was that we paid for breakfast for 2 because Expedia clearly states that this is served daily from 06.30 and we had to be on our way by 07.10. We were informed that this information was wrong and the senior receptionist was only able to give some fruit, an energy bar, a yoghurt and croissant! This is not worth £19.50...

"Comfy easy access room with walk-in shower, very helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet given it was Eater Saturday night. EV charger parking spot was occupied for many hours by a non-electric vehicle and the adjacent spot occupied by an EV which was not on charge. Staff said they were not responsible for its use."
