"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Sol Meliá. The resort is a little run down in some areas and could definitely benefit from a few updates, but the property itself is beautiful and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The pools were one of the highlights of our stay—they were beautiful! The food was okay overall, with a good variety of options. The guacamole was by far our favorite! One thing we found a little disappointing was the all-inclusive package. Even with all-inclusive, there were still certain food and drink items that required an additional purchase, and some drinks, such as Cokes, were only available during certain times. We feel an all-inclusive resort should be a little more inclusive and transparent about those limitations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a pleasant experience. With some updates to the property and a few improvements to the all-inclusive offerings, it could be an even better resort.Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Sol Meliá. "Lovely place on a quiet bay. It is out of the main hotel area and offer a simple but nice option for those looking for relaxation. The staff goes out of their way to help with every request. Pool is very nice and overlooking the bay. Rooms are nice but simple."

"I love the villa and the staff are very nice and friendly. I also like the breakfast as it is very good and of great variety. The only suggestion for improvement is the internal Tuk tuk service going back to our villa. On our first night, we waited almost 1h for the tuk tuk to send us back to our hotel. That guy in charge of arranging tuk tuk kept telling us to wait and next one would be our turn. Ended we really waited and didn’t realise that we should just walk back then, as we would have reached our villa. After that, we realised we walk back to our villa from the Palma (lobby) is faster than waiting for tuk tuk shuttle. One of the tuk tuk drivers, young man is very helpful as he gave us a lift when saw us walking back to villa on the second day of our stay (after breakfast at the Palma). I didn’t get his name but he is highly recommended for his excellent service and even helped us replace our room key that was suddenly spoilt, as we cannot enter the room after our breakfast. Thank you!"

"We had an amazing time here! We had a beachfront pool villa which was just gorgeous. The staff were especially attentive and so helpful and the food, especially the buffet breakfast, was the best we have ever seen in our many travels. There are a lot of activities you can do if you are inclined, there is a top notch gym in the forest, a tennis court, and having the spa onsite was also a bonus too. We would love to go back again and it was genuinely sad to be leaving."
