"Fab wee hotel with onsight parking. Room was spotless. Tea and coffee making facilities with bottled water and biscuits replenished every day. Fresh towels every day and housekeeping staff were so helpful and chatty. Hotel is situated on main road into Oban town centre. They have a beautiful bar area which is very quiet and would benefit from offering evening meal. Overall a wonderful stay. This is our fourth stay here and will most definitely be returning. "

"Obviously the location sells this hotel. Very dated decor and bedroom was very cramped. Car parking is not on site. Food and drink is very expensive"

"everything about the food staff room etc was very good the only complaint I had was that the live music started very late (around 21 45) which is fine if you are a local and start your evening late but not so much if you have been travelling are older and don't stay up till the wee hours !"

"This hotel is very tired, in need of upgrading, rooms were cold and shower was just a trickle. We were on the third floor, and the weather was very windy and wet which we know the hotel can’t do anything about, the weather but had we were in the top floor it was horrendous and there is obviously something wrong with the roof. Which they need to get looked at. Breakfast was buffet but the hot food was cold. Bar man was lovely as was the waiter in the restaurant. There was 5 other rooms in our party and they all complained about the cold rooms."

"Breakfast was excellent with good variety of choice. Spa facilities excellent but unlikely to use on a Saturday as busy. Surprised from a health and safety point of view to see a group of six drinking alcohol in the jacuzzi .."

"Warm and pleasant welcome at a quick check-in. Upgraded to a lovely suite, free of charge. Food was braw and muckle, delightful. Staff all charming and helpful. Looking forward to returning."

"Room was clean. Up some very steep stairs. Not the most comfortable of beds. Very small en-suite. Functional for a single night nothing longer. "

"Our room was lovely and the air-conditioning and heating system worked well. We very much enjoyed the spa. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We did not really care for the dinner menu so didn’t eat there."
