"If you are going to Mackinaw City, you really should stay on the beach. The Hamilton Inn was affordable, clean and best of all, right on the beach. There was also an indoor pool in case of bad weather, but we did not use it.
Breakfast of scrambled eggs and waffles was available. It was hot and delicious.
I did wish there were amenities like a lounge or restaurant, but there were lounges within a 3 block radius that were walkable, even for us senior citizens. "
"I didn’t even realise this was a motel until the desk clears mentioned it at checkout. I typically choose hotels with free breakfast, but due to the popular and overpriced location, I went for this accommodation. I would absolutely stay here again, and have no problem recommending it. Bakery options around the corner conpensate for no breakfast. Clean, simple rooms."
"They come right to hotel to pick up to go to ferry lived that as you can walk back once you get back through the town after coming back on ferry or ride the shuttle back to the hotel."

It is near the lake with a rocky beach from which I saw the sunset.
The porch and dining room have views of the beautiful garden flowers and the lake. I loved the blue/white room with an alcove that we had.
The place has a lot of charm!
I would definitely stay here again!"
