"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!"

"The floor in our bedroom creaks alarmingly when walked on. My concern was not for safety, as I am quite sure it is safe, but I felt extremely embarrassed about the noise being heard downstairs! When unpacking and repacking I needed to keep going in and out of the bed area and around and around the. Ed many times and the noise it makes is horrendous. I appreciate that this is not a modern build (God forbid because that would probably be worse) but the problem is excessive and not something I...
