"John was such a lovely host. Very friendly and makes the most delicious Irish breakfast for the morning!! A beautiful property and beautiful rooms. My husband and I loved our visit here!!"

"We found the Belmont House Hotel easily, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. The hotel itself is lovely, with tasteful décor, and our room was comfortable. Unfortunately, our stay was quite affected by the noise that evening. The bar was closed for a private event, and there was loud music and quite a bit of rowdiness both outside and around the main lobby area. As a result, it was very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. When planning our trip, I had specifically avoided...

"Well communicated contactless check in, beautiful property and rooms, cute little town, and the breakfast was good! Coffee was great, Charlie makes a great flat white! Parking can be a little bit of a nuisance, and like many historical properties no elevator so if you need help with your luggage plan ahead as the property is not always staffed. Lovely. Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option...

"Beautiful house but our room sadly needed refurbished.."

"The staff of the Fitzwilliam delivered a truly 5 star experience. The check-in experience, dining & concierge staff, and the housekeeping team far exceeded our expectations. The majority of the facilities were in good working order and appearance, just had a frayed carpet in the middle of our room entry area. We will definitely be back when traveling to Belfast."
