"A wonderful way to experience the rain forest in a raw and real manner. Wonderful for switching off and returning to nature. Don't expect all the bells and whistles, expect friendly travellers and staff, loud birds and heaps of rain."

"This lodge was in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest, which was so cool.
There was a tiny pool, but 2 nice natural swimming holes to wade in However, food was quite pricey for the quality you received in the restaurant. The Continental breakfast was a nice touch in the morning. It was great that we were loaned a flashlight and umbrella for our stay."

"I enjoyed the kangaroo steak for dinner at the Tides restaurant. It was accompanied with sweet potatoes and broccoli. It was all excellent!
I also loved being able to sit at the beach and sit by the pool. It made it an enjoyable experience."

"Amazing property, spacious rooms, beautiful pool, great amenities. 5-min walk to main strip of restaurants, 10-15 min walk from reef tour meeting points. All rooms have balconies facing one of two pools, very quaint, romantic resort. Great AC and fans in rooms. Only warnings: housekeeping is by request only and costs money each day; and front desk is staffed 9-5 and no overnight coverage. This wasn’t necessarily a deterrent but given the price for the rooms, i was a bit taken aback to see these...

"Great location for Great Barrier Reef activities, right beside the 4 mile beach. The rooms were clean and fully functional kitchen. Staff was welcoming. Free chairs , umbrella and towels was appreciated . Wished the front desk was staffed extended hours, with 8-5 we were not able to exchange towels , used beach towel instead since we left early and returned later than 5 pm. Highly recommended."

"It was in a good spot for easy access to the shops and also to the beach, though it took a bit of walking. It was very comfortable and had a washing machine and dryer just outside our door, which was handy. Small things were that one of the chair seats was a bit loose and the blind at the window became stuck. Otherwise it was a great place to stay."

"À environ un km de la rue principale où sont tous les restos. A distance à pied de la plage.
L’hôtel semble avoir été rénové récemment, mais est déjà défraîchi: chambre minuscule et sans lumière avec du moisi dans la salle de bain, les vitres sont très sales et la literie laisse à désirer. Les piscines ne sont aucunement rafraîchissantes et très sales. Je n’y retournerais pas."
