"The hotel is set inan amazing area. Walking distance to a shops. The hotel rooms were big and inviting. It was spotless and tidy. The bathroom showed some age but was perfectly functional. And as a cyclist you are very close to an old train track bed that is a shared cycle walking path with a tunnel that runs directly under the hotel. And into the main town centre. "
"I made a last minute booking and didn't arrive until midnight. My room was absolutely lovely. Super comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic. I really cant recommend highly enough. "

"Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). Would stay again 😁"
"We stayed in the hotel during the heat wave, so without the AC the room was quite warm, however manageable. Please mind the old style stairs in the building, may be challenging with heavy luggage. Otherwise the place was excellent for us. The breakfast is the best!"
"The Landsdowne is a delightful boutique hotel of historic significance that is welcoming and in the heart of town centre. Hannah was informative and helpful - always there to answer questions and make sure service was on point. The dining was superb! We will definitely return when in Calne. "
"Only stayed for one night so didn't have a chance to properly experience the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the pool looked amazing - sadly I didn't get a chance to go in! Breakfast was good too "
