We made a reservation online, called the location and asked for a handicap accessible room after making the reservation (we were told last year to do this because going through third party they can’t see the notes made for that). Called again a week prior to the reservation to confirm again with the manager that we would have a first floor room for my wheelchair bound mother. Was told it was all good. Got to the location to check in and Joe refused us service because he said they only had third floor rooms and said he was canceling the reservation and would not be able to help someone in a wheelchair upstairs since the elevator was broken. We asked if he could help us out and work with us and he said no. We told him we don’t even need a handicap room just one on the first floor and he said he would not do that and he was not going to help us and if we asked for an accommodation again there would be consequences and threatened to call the police. He never canceled the reservation like he said and it showed that we checked in to the location but we were not allowed to.
