I was in Corpus Christ for 3 days for a state convention and stayed at this La Quinta location. With busy days ahead of us I was looking to get a good night sleep a good breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and got some really good sleep. Breakfast was great, offering a variety of healthy choices as well.

The hallways looked like they could use a good cleaning. In fact, the 4th floor hallways was quite warm as if the AC wasn't working. The room, however, was very clean and comfortable. The common areas for breakfast were also quite clean and the breakfast offerings were surprisingly good. I would definitely go back!

Great location. The highway 37 took us to the beach, the USS Lexington, and Shoreline Blvd in just 25 minutes. I loved the daily free breakfast, the gym, and the pool. Beautiful view from room 402. Nice sunsets too. Comfortable bed and cool ac at night. Nice fridge, blow dryer, iron, and round table that I could easily move around as needed. Great helpful staff too. Those nice ladies made our stay very enjoyable. No complaints.

I was devastated when I arrived to Corpus after a three hour drive to find that the hotel I originally booked was falsely advertising their property. I was refunded but had to find another hotel quickly. I found La Quinta at a decent price and not far from the beach. When we arrived the property was very well maintained and clean. Our room was in great condition aside from normal scratches and bumps on the furniture, otherwise everything was in great shape. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast here was actual breakfast and not just snacks, the staff kept the breakfast area clean and kept the food coming out as more people joined. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

The first room we were in had a broken window and a broken mirror. They then moved us to another room, but there was no air conditioning, mold in the showers, and flies everywhere. The elevator was scary; it got stuck for a few seconds and made a loud noise. The staff was helpful.

The hotel has a musty, muggy, old building smell when you first come in. Our room was muggy, the carpet felt nasty to walk on. But we think they had just steamed it and they left the air on fan so the carpet had not been able to dry. The mattress cover had stains on it and the bathroom has mold. We did not make it to breakfast but it is a very small food area. We were not informed of the breakfast times either. We stopped for coffee on the way out and the coffee was barely warm. The young lady that checked us in was very nice.

When my brother and I opened the door to our room, we were OVERPOWERED with the smell of mold. He has allergies and we are both elderly. Both of us had to launder all our clothes and put our suitcases with baking soda outside in the sun. there was black mold on the roof out our window, as well as in the shower. This hotel needs to be demolished. Workers, please wear a hasmat suit. We were both sick when we got home. HORRIBLE!
