"Hotel is very lovely, it’s older but so well maintained and clean that I observed workers cleaning the glass windows and patio floor outside was being mopped. The panoramic views across the water of San Diego is so beautiful. The pools are clean and warm. The hot tub was nice. But most importantly it’s been a while since I’ve had every interaction from valet, to front desk, to restaurant staff all be so customer focused. The staff is wonderful and welcoming and for this alone deserves a 5 star. The restaurant Crown landing had delicious food. Usually my teen daughter is very picky but she loved their signature steak and I loved what I ordered which was the seafood pasta dish. We enjoyed our time at this hotel and I would recommend it. The only feedback I had was that pillows were too soft but some people may like that. Rooms were very clean and smelled clean - no musty smell and rooms are not dated. It’s also nice to have a 3rd floor balcony and ours overlooked the pool area. The valet parking was $55 per day or you could opt for self park $50. Also our room was in building 3 so we had to carry our non-wheeled luggage to our rooms as there were no luggage carts that I saw available "

"There were two on site restaurants. One was only open for breakfast, I believe it was close for refurbishment for dinner. The other restaurant was a little too high end for my grandkids. We had breakfast at the Barefoot Bar & Grill on our last day, it was very good and the outdoor seating right on the water was great."

"The resort is in a great location! Walking distance to the Belmont park and beach. The amenities are great! We especially enjoyed having a tennis court on site. The property was older but the upkeep was good. Our kids like the seals that were on the property. We enjoyed our week stay, the only thing was that it can get noisy at night with people party at the beach or in rooms around. It was a great value stay."
