Located pretty central in Cork City and great to have a secure area to park. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially the ones at the front desk. The rooms in the Lodge are nicely updated and very comfortable.

It is a very good place to stay you are in walking distance of things but sometimes you need a taxi and the front desk will get it for you unless they forget to call them like they did to me and I missed my tour and I didn’t get anything back so I lost a lot of money

Good location, has car park

Good location, clean, modern, has a car park, which is rare in Cork City Center. The breakfast (included in my stay) was good only thing I wish it had was a gym and/or leisure center.

Great amenities and staff. Very good Continental breakfast arrangement and easy walking around Cork city center. The room felt a little too warm, even with the heat turned off, so we left the window open, but that meant noise from the busy night life on the street below. Not too bad, but a heads up to others - there's a fan in the closet!

In the centre of Cork with car parking, our newly refurbished room was the perfect spot to rest and regroup after a long journey. Room was amazing and the staff helpful. Would stay there again.

This location is great...it's easy to walk down to the English market and to Oliver Plunkett street. We had great dining out and the hotel staff was kind. Breakfast was good.

Great Stay in Cork

Had a great stay at the Lancaster Lodge and a lovely time in Cork. Our room was newly rennovated to a really high standard and bed was really comfortable. Hotel is in a great location, friendly and helpful reception staff and a great breakfast. We would definitely stop here again

Affordable perfection

The staff were so very friendly, cheerful and helpful. My room was beautifully renovated, everything fresh and relaxing. The bathroom was perfect and absolutely clean. The hotel's location was perfect for visits with old friends and for an event at the University.

Great location in a quieter setting

Lancaster Lodge is removed from the bustle yet still conveniently located to UCC and city centre. As of late March 2025, there renovations look to be progressing nicely.

Great property but the construction going on is a definite drawback since it was crazy loud starting at 8am . If you can check out before the noise starts great otherwise it is unacceptably loud and you won't be able to relax in your room

Great help from the front desk.

Great visit wished we had more time the front desk staff were extremely warm and inviting. He made a map to help us find places to eat and recommended a few places. One of his recommendations we were fortunate enough to get into and it was delicious.

My room had an infestation of spiders. They took over the wall and the windows. I tried to move rooms, but the hotel was booked. They told me there was nothing they could do. My parenter qnd I attempted to kill as many as we couod to get through the night, but it was an impossible task. The spiders woupd go down the cieling onto the bed. Nothing was done during checkout because "there was no manager on site" it was ridiculous.
