"WE didn't get to stay in the main hotel, it had closed for the season (Oct 9th), we were put up in an apartment block only about 50 yards away which was OK. Basic but then we had booked a "basic" room. It's a short walk to the centre of Benitses with lots of Tavernas etc"

"Stayed for 1 night on our way to Paxos. It was very convenient for bus stop. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff. Everything a bit dated but was a good price with free basic breakfast."

"The owner Kostas was so nice. He treats everyone with kindness and my son loves him. Everyday he greets my son and made him feel special. However, the breakfast needs more improvement, not much of options needs fruits etc."

"The only one good thing about this property was Eleni, one of the receptionists. The other one was very rude and didn't want to help with any of the problems we had eg. the wifi password was not working so when we asked about it she told us there was nothing she could do for us. The hotel was very run down, the rooms weren't cleaned properly and the towels weren't changed regularly. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable with only one pillow. My husbands pillow case had blood spots on it and a rip on the sheet. The bathroom was horrible and grubby. The shower screen was covered with dirty marks and the shower leaked at two different places. The sink obviously leaked too as there was a grubby towel in the cabinet below. There was loads of cobwebs all around the room. The pool was disgusting, it obviously doesn't get cleaned as the water was very dirty. We didn't dare risk the breakfast due to the lack of cleanliness every where else. The hotel is very hard to find as it's not very well sign posted from the main road, we had to use google maps. The pictures they have to promote the hotel are very misleading, think they've used the ones from when it was first built, false advertising for sure. My husband and I asked to have a change of room, but to be honest I don't think it would have helped as my family stayed there too and their rooms were the same. They thought the place was appalling too. We had to walk past another rooms patio area which felt very intrusive."

"Wonderful location with amazing views all around. Andreas was very friendly and ensured I felt welcome on my arrival. The family had provided a few basic necessities for me due to my late arrival which was very much appreciated. The grounds were immaculately kept and spacious and the rooms were clean and comfortable with daily cleaning provided. Sunbeds around the infinity pool were comfortable and offered amazing views over the sea. Location was perfect being close to the beach and local tavernas/shops whilst remaining quiet and peaceful. Overall amazing hosts, perfect location and one of the safest places I have visited. Will definitely return 👌 "

"Two receptionists - one lovely one awful. Three times he tried to charge us again for the room if prepaid for. The location is great and it’s clean enough to be passable. However one of the staff members tried to scam us (the other man was helpful and lovely). The fridge motor sound meant we had to unplug it and just buy cold drinks as it was like sleeping next to a drummer boy, the aircon needs servicing desperately and was equally noisy. The staff and people who lived there also banged doors and shouted ALL night. Access to a nearby swimming pool is a bit far fetched - it’s a bit of a trek and they weren’t helpful directing us there - made it out to be inconvenient. The entire property needs renovating. Would recommend anyone NOT to stay here. Am baffled as to how it’s rated good - will definitely stick to exceptional on future! "
