"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a very good stay at Rio Othon Palace. The location is fantastic, especially if you want to enjoy Copacabana and experience Rio de Janeiro. The hotel itself was good and comfortable, and the service overall was good, although I wouldn’t necessarily describe every aspect as excellent. However, there was one person who completely changed my impression of the staff and made me raise my staff rating to 5 stars, Genair Gomes from Security. Genair was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely helpful from the moment we spoke and gave me so many great tips and recommendations about Rio. What impressed me most was that her kindness never felt like simply part of her job. She genuinely cared about my experience. Whenever she saw me, she would check to make sure I was okay, ask if I was enjoying myself, and make sure I was having a great time in Rio. That kind of attention and genuine hospitality makes a huge difference when you are traveling. She made me feel welcomed, looked after, and safe, while still allowing me to enjoy the city and discover Rio. Employees like Genair are what guests remember after a trip is over. She is the reason I changed my staff rating to 5 stars. Rio Othon Palace is very fortunate to have someone who represents the hotel with so much care, warmth, and professionalism. Thank you, Genair, for helping make my time in Rio even more special. 🇧🇷❤️"

"My stay at this hotel was a very pleasant experience. The cleaning staff were always attentive and constantly making sure everything was clean and well maintained. The staff in general were very friendly and helpful, and they were always willing to answer my questions and assist whenever I needed anything. The location was excellent, only about two blocks from Copacabana Beach, which made it very convenient to enjoy the area. I also felt that the area around the hotel was safe. There was always a security guard outside keeping an eye on the entrance and helping ensure the safety of the guests. The breakfast was one of my favorite parts. Everything was very clean, elegant, and there was a great variety of food to choose from. The pool is beautiful and a great feature of the hotel. Unfortunately, it rained constantly during the days I stayed, so I wasn’t really able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. The only area that I think could use some improvement is the gym. The equipment and facilities are quite old and could definitely benefit from an update. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The location, cleanliness, friendly staff, security, and breakfast made it a great experience. I would definitely stay here again, while keeping in mind that the gym and some of its facilities are older and could use some renovations."
