"Really nice small hotel with an excellent restaurant. Nice pool right on a small sandy beach with some pretty good coral beds right there. Beautiful setting near top of cooks bay. Room had a funny smell but staff was great in trying to address it. "

"Checkout was very very long! Order your taxi in advance and it goes by room number or name for that I almost missed my ferry because of the long checkout process. The hotel is beautiful, the room I had with the bathroom clear wall that blinds you when your sleeping if your mate goes to the washroom, is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. "We were really enjoyed every minute our vacation! The staff were excellent! I would like to say special thanks for help my request ( birthday surprise) to Maima. She did a great job to prepare my husband surprise present. The room was spotless the restaurant was great. The bar was fun,many nights were live music on. The beach and the ocean were clean and gorgeous. The place was overall our expectations. We spent more than a week in the bungalow. Highly recommend this place."

"Great breakfast— large buffet at about $30 per person Grounds lovely and well taken care of. Rooms large. Pool nice. Access to the beach not easy , seemed like a steep drop off. The water wasn’t inviting. Would recommend but not for beach."

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"
