The stay was good. The bed and pillows were great! The layout of the room was very efficient and loved the use of space. The breakfast left lots to be desired. Breakfast was cold and very little was offered during the week. The options for topping for yogurt or waffles was great though. I gathered all the items I enjoyed and made a snack mix each day we were there. That was great. I was also impressed with their SF syrup option, appreciated that.
Property is only about three months old, so should not have any negatives to report, except I do have a couple of nits. First of all, very nice, contemporary, clean, well equipped. We had a large suite which was like a nicely furnished apartment. Everything spanking and fresh. Nice exercise room with a few treadmills (didn't try them). Did try the pool and it was refreshing. So my nits... The bed was a bit too soft for my taste but I did sleep well enough. The breakfast area was spacious but the food offerings were budget hotel predictable and meh. No butter for toast, waffles or muffins??? Come with ear plugs if you are sensitive to fan noise. There was the bedroom A/C unit, the living room A/C unit, and the bathroom exhaust fan all running, none of which can be turned off. And typical conditioned dry air with no way to get fresh air. Finally, it seems that whoever designs hotel rooms intends to keep you in the dark. Lighting was dim. Only one side lamp for the couch. Only one bedside lamp. Both pretty dim. (Hey, we both like to read.) And the big circular light over the bathroom sink was very stylish, but not very helpful for shaving or doing makeup. But we have come to expect and adapt to hotel quirks and would recommend and stay here again.
Final thought... hotel attached to casino. Combined parking lots are the strangest layout of little grassed islands and vague directions. You will make a wrong turn, guaranteed.
Great place stay for casino or live racing. We watched the races from the hotel patio and walked through the walkway to bet. We had our own drinks and grilled steak with their huge gas grill.
Hotel is clean. Has a lot of issues for a new hotel. One of the check in ladies is not pleasant by any means. She’s borderline rude. Pretty sure it’s just her personality l.
This experiment was not good. After checking in, the front desk lady handed me my key and said “the elevators are down” carried everything up to the room. The room had never been cleaned. Went back down with everything. Got a different room. Carried everything up. AC’s weren’t working as the entire hotel was having power issues. Hence the elevators not working. The front desk lady at check in is pretty rude. Nothing pleasant about any experience with her as she acts like having a job is an inconvenience on her existence. Breakfast is really good and the lady that handles that is awesome.
