Pretty good ice cream stop on the east side of Columbus. Plenty of great flavors to choose from, and it's free if you can beat the "Ice Cream Challenge" - 8 scoops of ice cream, 3 bananas, and mounds of almonds, whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries. Time to beat is 11:01. But even if you don't win, that's a pretty good deal for $19.95.
The Bexley House and Garden Tour gives an opportunity to explore some of the breathtaking private spaces throughout the city. This five acre garden of distinction was by far the star of the tour. *as a side note, I grew all the flowers for this garden in the greenhouses where I work.
The brightly colored wooden frames filled with succulents that decorate the fence were painted and planted by yours truly. The Bexley House and Garden Tour gives an opportunity to explore some of the breathtaking private spaces throughout the city. This five acre garden of distinction was by far the star of the tour.

The back view of Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, OH. Over 100 years ago, Jeffrey Mansion was built as the residence of industrialist and early Columbus City Mayor Robert Jeffrey. Jeffrey served as mayor from 1903-1905 and willed his home to the city of Bexley in 1941. Today the mansion and surrounding grounds are a city park. There is a ghost story attached to the mansion stating that Jeffrey hung himself in his home before granting the city rights to his property. However, records list Jeffrey’s death occurring in October of 1961, a full 20 years after bestowing his home upon the city.
