"Staff were very helpful and made our stay great. Bathroom in our room was a little small but overall great room. Loved the complementary drinks on the house, much needed after a long drive. Pool area was great and breakfast was top tier."
"The staff was great. The room was adequate. The closet all the way in the back of the room was odd. The pool was VERY small, get more than 5 people in it, and it was full, and too loud. The pool also had some very loud (something) making a loud noise. It was almost unbearable. The breakfast was very standard. For a place with a very high rating, it was sub-par. Fresh fruit was an apple. It was always waffles. No pancakes, no French toast. But it was doable. The smell of pot on the 4th floor every day was not fun at all. We complained and there was no offer to move us. If you want a long stay this is not the hotel for you, but a quick overnight, it would be great.
Again the staff was great, very friendly and kind. The other issues could not really be changed by the staff."
"An absolutely wonderful family owned motel. I went to hike the manitou incline, all I needed to do was hop on the bus across the street and it took me right to where I needed to go. The room was more than enough for what I needed, clean and update. Front desk staff was awesome.. dang I should of gotten the front desk guys phone number, he was a cutie. Maybe next time."
"We stayed here for two nights. Our room was ready to occupy late, and we waited an hour after check in to receive our keys. That was disappointing. Then when we got to our room, it felt like the AC hadn’t been run in days. It was hot and took hours to cool off. We had to open doors in July to get the room to cool down. After those mishaps, though, we began to fully enjoy our stay. I would doubt those issues are repeated for others. So, I enthusiastically recommend this resort. If all goes well, it totally worth a stay."
