Great small hotel in a cool historic town

This small hotel in old town is very cute and very close to everything in the historic town. It is associated with the Charco restaurant which is excellent!

Amazing stay. Quaint. Breakfast included is amazing. Ordered the Americano. Charco Bistro is the best place to eat in town. I had the shrimp appetizer and the ribeye. House red tannat was lovely! All staff were exceptionally friendly! Turn air conditioning on in the room with a remote. Go to De los Suspiros for white wine and cheese in the afternoon. Incredible!

Charco is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Colonia del Sacramento. The hotels is wonderful and the staff were amazing. If you're going to visit Sacramento then this is the place to stay.

Charco Hotel was so charming! It’s in a beautiful location. The property itself is gorgeous with very helpful and kind staff. Our dinner and breakfast in the adjacent restaurant were delicious. I would absolutely stay here again. We loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Charco Hotel… enjoying very much the restaurant and the spacious, beautiful room. We stayed in a Suite (Room 2) and the room was lovely. But the bathroom was tiny and it was directly on the street at the entrance (even before the reception área). Fortunately, the street was a quiet one, and noise was not a problem. I would highly Recommend the hotel and restaurant.

I have been several times before at the Bistro which is very good. This ttme we decided to book the hotel It is in the best part of Colonia, really a colonial city around the hotel. Inside the hotel is charming, modern and comfortable. I recommend it to anyone who decided coming to Colonia.

A wonderful boutique hotel with only 7 rooms right on the Rio de Plata. Best room is room 7 with balcony on the river. Service was great. Restaurant was a wonderful setting on the river with a limited menu. But enough choice for anyone and really good quality food. One of the very best around.

The staff at Charco are all top shelf: kind, smart, and attentive! We felt so blessed from the moment we arrived. The food is excellent! You must eat in the restaurant: the poke bowl and the beet hummus are delicious. Our room was clean and quiet and so spacious. We loved the wee pool too. Top stars for this hotel.

Very nice property. Quick ride from the ferry. In the middle of the old town so very walkable. The property and the are around it are beautiful. We tried both breakfast and dinner at the facility, both were good. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, quiet and well equipped. The only thing is the tiny bugs that filled the pillows and the bed covers but I guess nothing you can do about that.
