Explanation was that they were in the process of changing vendors. Ran out of coffee for guests during continental breakfast. No water provided with breakfast. We were in College Station for 7 on 7 State Football Championship. This location was very close to the Veterans Park. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice but instead of two queen beds it was one queen and one double bed but they were comfortable. A/C and internet worked well. The sink didn’t drain well but wasn’t bothersome enough to complain about. Rooms were quiet. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast. Overall a good place to stay.

We arrived late to the hotel to check in and was assigned a room. The gentleman that checked usbin wrote down the wrong room number. We went to the room number written on the card folder to find that our key card did not work and someone was already checked in to that room. Thankfully that person did not answer the door before we gave up and returned to the front desk. He gave us the wrong room number. Perhaps if the gentleman at the front desk was not fidgeting constantly he could have ficused on what hebwas doing??

First, the people were great. They were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was included, but while I did not make it before the 9 a.m. deadline, my husband was not impressed. We had a King Suite, and the rooms were large. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The very basic amenities were provided: very small fridge and microwave, tiny shampoo and conditioner, and wall mounted blowdryer. There was a very thin bar soap at the sink and shower but no liquid soap or body wash and no lotion. There was no coffee or tea or coffeemaker. There was nothing on which to place our suitcases, not even one of those folding luggage racks. So we had to either open them on the floor or on the bed. There was a closet and a small dresser. The TV was on the dresser. In the bathroom, there was no towel rack or anything close to the tub on which to lay a towel or washcloth. I have some balance issues, and some kind of bar at the tub would have been wecome. The toilet showed distinct signs of age, and it is time to replace them, tank and all. All in all it was very bare bones. Given the size of the rooms, I think some small upgrades would make it more palatable. It served our purposes for a one night stay, but I would not choose it for anything more extended.
