"This was our first stay at the Hotel Lombardy. We found it very nice. The staff met us outside on arrival. Joey was polite and helpful. Took our bags, valet parked our car, helped us inside, directed us to the check in desk and delivered our bags. The room was clean and well appointed in the classic style of an older, upscale hotel. The only issue was that the shower/tub drained slowly. A simple fix. Breakfast was terrific. Gilda took terrific care of us and even filled our cooler with ice. We look forward to returning. An easy walk to the White House and dinner at the Old Ebbitt Grill.
