"We were in D.C. for a long weekend getaway. We arrived at The Hamilton 3 hours before check-in time anticipating to have our luggage put in the luggage hold. We were pleasantly surprised to be told that our room was available. The lobby area was beautiful, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size, and very clean. The hotel is very conveniently located - 1 block away from the closest Metro Station (McPherson Square) and blocks away from many of the areas we were heading."

"I never been bothered by housekeeping so much at a hotel before… Not only did they try to enter the room the day after I checked in without saying it was housekeeping with a quiet knock while I was taking a nap from a long travel day the nite before then today twice they kept trying to enter the room. First time around 8:30am( checkout is not until noon) then I tell them to not bother us and even with the do not disturb on they again tried to come in the room again without saying it was housekeeping about 10am!!! I would never come back here for just that issue alone.!! Train your staff to understand that.. the only good part of the stay was the nice lady in the restaurant who was kind enough to give me to go containers for my breakfast ( which was yummy too!) both days. She smiled and made sure I had everything I needed. She was awesome!!"

"room is not cleaned after 1 night. Not sure if that’s a new practice. If it is, I don’t really mind… if, however, the room is still everyday cleaned, then it is probably an issue that should be addressed. Thanks!"
