Good location and the room was comfortable and clean. Quiet - apart from Road Trains on the A1! The restaurant is not open, seeming to serve as a playroom for the owners's young children. Food is available in the bar but it is not a welcoming or hospitable place and it stank of the residue of tobacco - very unpleasant. It had pool tables and TVs for sports. Just as well there were lots of good places to eat nearby.

Comfortable enough stay for one night - but the place definitely needs work. Bed & pillows could do with a change over to something more comfortable as could feel most of the springs in the mattress. Shower was tolerable given hot water coming through intermittently and alternating between scolding hot and lukewarm. With a bit of TLC, this place could be a lot better. Great location, convenient, but very dated and in need of a refresh.

Neat and clean handy location to shops etc, although a Friday stay next to the pub isn't recommended. A fight or some commotion broke out late last night. It was pretty full on and wasn't ideal. Other then that the motel it's self was fine.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member, after having a chat and completing our check in , we were very happy with our allotted room . The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. A very quiet place to stay within easy walking distance to Lake Colac , botanical gardens and many eateries including the RSL which is across the road. Probably the only complaint as with many motels is the 1 ply toilet paper , nothing that $3 couldn’t fix 😊 We were very happy with our choice to stay here
