This was an excellent location near activities and the local college. If you are able to walk without limitations, most things were within a 30 minutes walk. The only times I used Uber or Bolt was from the train station to the hotel. The breakfast was good and tasty.

The location is about 10-15 minutes walk to the university. It is a very slight hill going up, but not too bad. The room and bathroom are very spacious! Staff are friendly. Breakfast (10€/person) is good. Beautiful view from back balcony of the hotel.

The Luggage is a beautiful property however my family of 4 adults was assigned to stay at the attic so the ceiling is an angled rooftop the beds are underneath you can easily bump your head anytime. Uncomfortable beds specifically bumpy pillows need an upgrade. Had difficulty carrying our luggage up n down the room no elevator. Otherwise good breakfast with fresh fruits, walk to University, parked our luggage after checkout. Glad we only have to stay for one night. I’ll give it a rating of 3.5.

Great location and more!

My room was very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. I particularly liked the breakfast room and the breakfast they had which was about €10 and very much worth it. The breakfast room is sunny and has a view that is so lovely. The neighborhood is great and very close to the university. I thought the staff was very nice and accommodating. They were good hosts.

The hotel itself is nice. In a older building but in good condition. We found the staff friendly and willing to offer advice. The downside is there is no dedicated parking. We had to find parking on a near by side street which was not optimal. Also the hotel is not within easy walking distance so an uber will probably be neccessary

Terrific place. A beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast and views. It's also easy to get to via cab or uber (unlike staying in the historic center where cars can't go). It's a short walk to everything. Coimbra is lovely too.

This historic building-turned-inn is terrific. It has been remodeled with all the modern conveniences while maintaining all of its old world charm. Suites are large with immensely high ceilings and huge bathrooms, common seating areas abound, the buffet breakfast is delicious, and it's within walking distance to the historic Coimbra university and botanical gardens. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

We loved loved the building and our room was great - had the best view and was so spacious especially after coming from Lisbon where our hotel room was tiny! Breakfast was great as well - all in was fantastic value for money. It is just a bit far to hike into the old town but ww had anticipated it would be a very active holiday so didn't ind the walk. Dining is definitely lacking around the area so we would suggest dining in town before getting back to hotel.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Magical Sintra

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. It's beautifully decorated with a unique updated traditional style. The staff went out of their way to answer questions and make sure our stay was comfortable. One point to be aware of is the parking they provide is at a sister property a ways away and can make luggage drop off and pick up a bit complicated. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (and the amazing breakfast) and wished we could have stayed longer!
