The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful throughout my visit. I also found the location to be terrific, as it was within walking distance of most attractions.

While the shower pressure was great and the bed comfy, as well as a good central location, The Coimbra location rooms/bathroom looks NOTHING like the pictures. Not updated. Dark hallways and rooms. Was highly disappointed. No refunds so stayed. My next visit wil definitely be at another hotel.

For the money, it was a great hotel. Clean room, easy walk to Old Town. There were tons of restaurants to choose from in the old town. Free Breakfast until Noon! Not a fancy place, but the bed, room, and AC were all excellent. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I found the bed to be a bit too soft but thankfully, housekeeping staff offered to remove the mattress topper (?) and it was perfect. The bedding, room, AC and shower were fine, the breakfast was very good, and overall I’d say it was pretty good value for the money.

The room was a bit dated, and some surfaces could use a refresh, but the bed and shower were great. There's an elevator and balcony (off my single room), and the free breakfast was nice. I particularly liked that breakfast was available from 6:30 to noon. All things considered, this was great value for the money, and I would definitely stay again.

It was close to everything in the city center including, shops, cafés, restaurants, and bus stations. The room was spacious and clean, and had a balcony which I enjoyed.

Most comfortable stay we had in Portugal thus far. I had been digital nomading all over Portugal for a couple weeks now. I had been in many hostels and motel. But this is the first time I had stayed in a hotel as comfortable as this. This has all American amenities one would expect in a hotel like shampoo, towels, air condition, good comfortable bedding, and spacious room. I cleaned well, I slept undisturbed for 10 hours for the first time in Portugal. Best place in Lisbon and Coimbra

Difficult and costly parking

Nice well located hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Room was pleasant. Unfortunately I had to pay €18 for the parking place. Not only that the ramp to the parking place was tight, narrow and steep. It was a challenge to drive down without hitting anything and even more of a challenge to drive up.

Servicable hotel, in a decent location on main road into Coimbra. About 5-10 minute walk from centre of Coimbra restaurants and bars. 15-20 minutes walk to University area and Botanical gardens of which the 2nd part is largely up hill

I was there two nights. Very comfortable. I had a sudden drop in blood sugar in the night and the night clerk found me something to eat at 4 am. Very kind and alert!

Great staff, convenient

Nice hotel in convenient area for walking and proximity to train station. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit every morning and decent (if limited) options. Staff was very friendly and housekeeping was excellent. A few small things with condition of room, soap tray, TP holder, TV sound, but nothing earthshaking. Biggest issue for us was that it was difficult to find based on address given, but we finally muddled our way through. Would stay again.

The hotel was run down and I was disappointed with the state of the room. There is a lack of lighting in the room. The bathroom lacked anywhere to put your things. I tried to order some food but most options were unavailable. The area around the hotel was uninviting but quiet. There is a supermarket very close by. It is only a short walk to the old town area.

The turn off for me was the mold around the bathtub. Sorry... but that's a no/no. I have travelled to Spain, in the same price range and even a bit lower and the beauty, the cleanliness, and the attention to details of the hotels was outstanding compared to the one in Coimbra. Another issue was having two tubes of shower gel available but zero shampoo. Anyway, convenient as location, but they need to improve their offering.
