As a resort the grounds are lovely; we thought our room was somewhat dated and the bed not overly comfortable for us. But it was a good size with a separate lounge. Shower was over a spa bath which is not ideal but the water pressure was excellent. It does represent good value for what we paid and we were happy to stay there. That said we wanted to eat in the town so we had to drive in as it was too far for us to walk.

Location is a little outside Coffs Harbour but no issue if you have a car. Overall the grounds are nice and well kept, but the room itself was a little dated, albeit it we had a comfortable nights sleep.

We stayed at the Pacific Bay Resort as an overnight between Sydney and the Gold Coast. Reception was welcoming and friendly, directions to our room precise, parking availability was excellent, our room although probably 35 to 40 years old was spotlessly clean and well maintained. A golf cart shuttle picked us up And took us home after dinner and the same thing in the morning for breakfast. Five stars on everything!
