Located in the heart of Santa Teresa, this was a decent stop for a couple of nights. Bear in mind it is located directly off the main strip, so it is quite loud at all times. That being said, the property is extremely walkable with all amenities close by, and no 4x4 required to access unlike some of the other properties located up the hill. . The living room AC kept the unit cool, and the equipped kitchen was appreciated. Decent price for the space, and property rep was very responsive.

This place is ok. It’s just not worth the price. Santa Teresa has become such a popular destination that these outrageous prices are inevitable. No air conditioning in the rooms ( only in the living room ), noisy environment,

Wir hatten eigentlich die Unterkunft Casa Palma gebucht, die jedoch einen Wasserschaden hatte, weshalb wir ein "Upgrade" zu Casa Almendra bekommen haben. Vor Ort haben wir zuerst festgestellt, dass das W-Lan für die umliegenden Unterkünfte nicht funktioniert hat und bis zu unserer Abreise das Problem nicht behoben werden konnte. Die Unterkunft ist generell nur für Gäste mit sehr geringen Ansprüchen geeignet. Für 4 Personen auch sehr billig. Wir (zu zweit) konnten uns leider nicht wohl fühlen, da die Wohnung eher ungepflegt ist und auch die Textilien sehr alt und mit vielen verschiedenen und bunten Flecken versehen. Außerdem hatten wir in jedem Zimmer Kakerlaken, die z.B. auch auf das Bett gekrabbelt sind. Wir hatten Glück ein Moskitonetz Zelt dabei gehabt zu haben, durch das die Kakerlaken nicht nachts auf uns herum gekrabbelt sind. Das anti Insektenspray, welches uns deshalb am 2. Tag gebracht wurde hat leider nicht gewirkt und die Kakerlaken sind noch Stunden nach dem vollständigen Besprühen in allen Räumen herum gekrabbelt. Die Gastgeberin Julieta war sehr freundlich, wenn auch etwas überfordert, war sie bemüht die Reinigungskraft zu uns zu schicken, um die Textilien zu tauschen. Leider gab es keine Textilien ohne Flecken, weshalb Julieta nach unserer Abreise neue Textilien gekauft hat. Wir hoffen, dass sie auch noch das Kakerlaken Problem in den Griff bekommt. Wir können die Unterkunft trotz der akuten Bemühungen der Gastgeberin leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Very nice house. We liked the fact that the secondary room is separated so there is a lot of privacy. The gas from the kitchen didn't work the 1st day but it was fixed within half an hour. The main room's bathroom doesn't have shower curtain so the floor and toilet gets wet. Things to consider: there is no dinning table and microwave. Fiona was very nice and she answered the messages right away. Would recommend and stay again.
