"Such a lovely stay in Alexandra! VERY warmly welcomed (particularly by Buddy!) Beautiful grounds to walk around, lovely warm rooms in winter. An absolutely great stay - can't wait to be back in Alexandra to stay here a bit longer!"

"Had everything needed in my room - was quiet in my room but colleague had some noise from next room. He also didn't have an iron in room so used mine. Overall I was happy with room as had a lot of space for all my work stuff and was warm"

"Only down side is that i didnt stay longer! A very cute little cottage with everything you need. Good heating, a very warm and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again. There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said that happens often and they were very helpful. Not sure if this is a Hotels.com issue or a host issue. Was not a big problem and sorted quickly but good to know."
