Top Clyde River Hotel Reviews

Loyalist Inn & Suites

Loyalist Inn & Suites

8/10 Good
"This is a really nice "old fashioned" hotel with remodeled rooms. Decor was very nice, bed was comfortable, and TV was huge. It still seems to be a work in progress, though, with a DYI feel to some of the maintenance. For instance, huge microwave is on a very wobbly shelf that seems sure to fail at one point. No place to put soap of washcloth in shower expect floor - and no grab bar to hold onto when bending down to get them. No elevator, either, so be prepared to carry everything up one or two flights of stairs. No closet or clothes hook in room, so toss your clothes on the chair or floor or keep them in your suitcase. But A+ for atmosphere, and I hope they work out the few small glitches. Also conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shops."

"Oh Stephanie! What an INCREDIBLE inn you have created. I was absolutely blown away — by the view, the atmosphere, the warmth and welcoming feeling, and the incredible attention to every single detail. You can truly feel how much thought and care has gone into making this place so special. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. I already cannot wait to come back within the next year… and probably for the rest of my life! 😂❤️ You have created something truly magical and I will talk about it until the day I die."

10/10 Excellent
"Kimberlee was a wonderful host; warm and engaging. She welcomed us into her home and graciously helped us feel comfortable with the shared space. This was a first time experience doing a Bed 'n Breakfast; final conclusion is we'd do it again if all bnb's are like this one. We would have loved to have spent some more time staying there and we will visit again when the opportunity arises."

Wildwood Motel

Wildwood Motel

8/10 Good
"The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, the rate was reasonable. The room was pretty clean but had several cobwebs and spider webs (cleaned a while ago?). The floor was laminate - so much better than carpet. The bedspread was a white duvet insert - no washable cover, which was odd. The key was an actual key, can’t remember when the last time I used one!"

"Great for a long stay and very convenient to town and other sites to visit. Property is older and a bit worn down, but had everything we needed and comfortable spots to hang out, inside and out. Only complaint: reading and bedside lamps were useless for the nightly crossword puzzle!"
