"We were there during the weekend when the town held a special event about mountain bike. Luckily, the hotel was out of the city centre, so the night was peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious. Only one particularly dislike was that from the bathroom window, the afternoon sun was so strong that we could have got sunburn sitting on the toilet. And there was no curtain on bathroom window. Well, it was a very unusually sunny that day. "

"A very cosy house right in the heart of Fort Augustus. The living room was lovely with the fireplace, though we forgot to ask for more firewood and it got a bit cold at night. It was very peaceful—I think we were the only guests! The room is small if you're travelling with luggage, but very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was basic but decent."

"We booked to stay in a suite which was a great choice. Beautiful, newly renovated and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, lovely large shower with toiletries and fluffy towels, a neat kitchenette with fridge coffee machine kettle and microwave also fully stocked with plates and cutlery. The restaurant was closed due to renovations but breakfast was served to our room. With booking a suite we had a dining area and lounge which made all the difference. It would be easy to spend a week here...
