The hotel itself was excellent!! Very clean and a very cozy cabin feel. But as a Lifetime Diamond Hilton member, I find the staff not as friendly as how the cabin would make you feel. Breakfast was subpar. It says it opens at 07, and finally opened at 0710. The kitchen help was taking his good old time opening and getting things ready. And nothing written that says that you place your order for breakfast. Really? We sat there waiting for like a buffet style. Also, they allow their guests to go to the dining room barefoot!! Isn’t that against OSHA, health standards? Much as I like the hotel itself, will not be returning. Would I recommend? If you’re a mediocre traveler, go for it.
