I loved the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the outside of the facility. I did not appreciate the dirtiness of my room furniture. I also did not appreciate that the pool was not up and running as stated on the Expedia website. Also, the A/C needs to be updated.Even though I had my air on the coldest temperatures. It was still humid and warm inside of my room. It was also hot all over the building. It got so bad that my husband had to purchase a fan for us to be able to sleep. I am highly disappointed in reference to the discomfort that we experienced and all of the funds that we spent preparing to enjoy the pool just to check-in and be told that the pool was under construction. It was one of the main reasons why we even chose this particular location. I’m not sure if this miscommunication of the pool amenity was an update issue on the Embassy or Expedia.
Pool is close for 3 months the date I was there was May 30 to the 31st, yet we paid full price and was not told the pool was close..

The ceiling profusely leaked water, the door to the room would not open and when told it was fixed we found out the lock was disabled, meaning anyone could enter the room at any time. We were not offered a new room until we complained. The pool was closed. We couldn't connect to the WiFi and was forced to do work at a local Starbucks. The lady who cooked omelettes was rude and did nothing but complain about how much she had to work. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel.

Liked the water in the lobby, didn’t like that the pool was out of order
I've stayed at Embassy Suites Beachwood before. This time, however, the shower in my room didn't work. I returned to my room late at night, so I didn't notice the broken shower until morning. The shower handle wasn't attached and fell off in my hand. I let the front desk associate know when I checked out, and she said the manager would contact me to discuss reimbursement. I still haven't heard from anyone, so we'll see.
This place was horrible. The entire room smelled like mold and mildew. The furniture was water damaged. The wall paper was peeling. We were in town for my wife's surgery and had to leave for fear of her getting some kind of infection if we came back to this place afterward. It's hard to believe this is a Hilton property.
