"The staff is awesome, super friendly and welcoming! The restroom was not cleaned thoroughly, but the room was comfortable and they sent house keeping everyday. So if I wanted, I could have asked them to reclean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was silent. Free breakfast was what you expect, the attendant was great! I would stay again!"

"There was some confusion with my reservation when I arrived but they ended up upgrading me to a suite. The room was kind of worn but overall it was "cleanish". The sink had a bunch of cracks, the shower had black mildew on the edges, and the sofa was super worn leather. I was going to put the comforter from the extra bed over the couch but I found a yellow stain on the fitted sheet and decided to just leave the extra bed be. The bed I slept on was super squeaky and let a indent on the mattress almost immediately but it wasn't the worst bed as far as comfort. I was there mainly at night since I was there for work so I didn't need to spend too much time in the room. Overall it was quiet, the hotel staff gave me space (which is what I prefer) and for the price I wasn't expecting anything over the top so it checked all the boxes when it came to bare necessities. There was also plenty of parking which was a huge plus. I would highly recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner. There was one small bottle of shampoo but I didn't use it. Also, bring your own lotion if that's something you use. There wasn't any provided and I regretted not bringing any. If I was trying to save money I would possibly consider staying here again but in I did regret not spending a little more money for something a little nicer. "

"While the lodge is rustic, it is clean and grounds are beautiful. The lodge is peaceful and quiet. The outdoor pool is amazing. The rooms are clean and the view of the woods and wildlife from your private balcony is beautiful. Breakfast buffet was fresh and hot and plenty of traditional and healthy choices. Lunch and dinner are the same. Staff is also polite and helpful. We will be back. "

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was very dated and dusty, especially the curtains, and the sheets had stains. There was no hand soap, only a facial bar, and when the AC came on it left a terrible smell in the room. The check-in experience was also uncomfortable, with the staff member making strange small talk with my wife. The only positive was being able to park right in front of the room, which made loading and unloading easy. We wanted to leave early, but since we would not have received a refund, we decided to tough it out. I would not stay here again and would rather drive the extra 30 minutes to Lexington for a much better hotel."
