"Hotel is great and conveniently located above the train station. Easy train ride to get to city center. Check in was complicated as the front desk kept saying we had 2 reservations and Petra at front desk kept insisting we should call the booking agency to ask why that happened. Despite us communicating we had a confirmation email indicating we only had reserved 1 room. After a long day of travel it was very irritating. "Okay, first it was hot during our trip and the AC in the room did not cool lower than 23°C, even though it was set to 18°. The breakfast was awesome with plenty of options for everyone. I didn't like that we had to pay to use the pool, it's nothing special but it did cool us down, still this should be included in the room rate. Parking was easy, the outdoor lounge was great for watching the World Cup. Close to both the street cars and the train station. I would stay here again."

"Very old bathroom and shower water goes all over the bathroom. No separation of shower area. Showers floor very old. Old carpet. 99 years old hotel. Needs kore maintenance."

"Perfect location by the tower of Charles bridge. The location was supreme. There is a grocery store right across from the hotel. The staff were amazing with free breakfast. Free ticket to visit the tower for all hotel guests. "

The take away sandwich was a huge benefit, it allowed us to only buy an evening meal. Tram transport was ideal across the road. Rooms were cleaned each day & our cleaner was lovely. "I wish I could give 5 stars as it's a really nice place. But two crucial elements of staying in a 5-star hotel were not ok for me: sleep and hygiene. Both nights were a nightmare due to people moving above us at night for hours (staff?) and the floors were creaking heavily and loudly. The bath tub had no holder at the wall for the shower head and you could only shower by holding it above your head by yourself - there was also a very flimsy and sticky shower curtain."
