The best thing about this hotel is their customer service. We stayed 2 nights for a local soccer tournament. The staff was amazing. They were flexible and patient. They allowed our soccer team to setup in the lobby for a team meal while we watched the Columbus Crew vs FC Cincinnati game. The room was very clean. I would have loved an elevator, but no big deal. Pool was clean and warm.

We sincerely apologize for the bedding not being clean. I personally saw the stain on the bedding and even though it was not blood, it is still not acceptable for there to be ANY type of stain on the bedding.

Overall it was a nice, reasonably priced hotel just off the interstate. The staff was very kind and helpful. They are currently updating the hotel interior, so there were paint chips on the stairwell carpet and some equipment setting outside but it didn't affect our stay. We appreciated that the breakfast buffet went until 10am on the weekend and there was a nice selection of food and the staff did a great job of keeping it stocked.

There was nothing mentioned about how this property is under construction. When we pulled up there was a few sinks outside, trash and piles of trim/wood. Just a lot of construction going on and overall felt dirty. In our room there was a cap for a soda next to the bed which wasn’t ours and some hairs on the bathroom floor. Also, there is no elevator. We had a 2nd floor room and had to take 4 trips up and down stairs to get our stuff in/out. Such a pain.

We apologize you were not pleased with your experience. Unfortunately renovations is a very necessary part of running a hotel, in order to make sure the building stays up to date for our guests. I’m sorry you did not see the mention of renovations or no elevator under the hotel alerts on our website, we would never want to deceive our guests so we make every effort to ensure we are transparent as possible. There is no excuse for hair on a bathroom floor and had we known we would have promptly changed your room to rectify the situation. We hope you will give us another chance once our renovation is complete.

While it wasn’t horrible, i don’t plan to return. Breakfast had decent offerings. Water pressure was good and hot. Toilet was very loose. All the drains drained very well. Room A/C was loud and couldn’t turn it off without unplugging it. Room was too stuffy without it. They seem to be doing some painting, it smelled like paint throughout the halls. Employees were all nice but seem stretched very thin. Decent budget hotel. Only stayed one night. Definitely would not be comfortable staying longer

I only have one concern…. I was a woman staying alone and I needed a plunger at 1130 pm. I was required to walk down to the front desk, get the plunger, walk back to my room, use the plunger, and bring it back (wet and nasty). They are cheap, I recommend having one for each floor so I can get it from the laundry room or somewhere else closeby.. I realize it is petty, but it definitely impacted my stay.

I specifically requested a room with a hot tub and it was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! We were in town for a basketball tournament, and my son could not utilize the tub after his games. Was unable to utilize the laundry facilities due to there only being 1 washer and 1 dryer for the entire hotel. The Laundry facilities were occupied around the clock and I was unable to wash my sons basketball uniform Friday night and from 2-10(when i finally went to sleep). Breakfast was limited, and there was construction and painting going on during our stay. Paint chips covered the stairs. Not having an elevator is not ideal for elderly, especially with the laundry facilities being on the second floor.

I am sorry you feel this way. You are correct the hotel is dated which is why we are currently making improvements to the property. The renovations only are currently impacting the hallways. Nothing in the rooms or pool or breakfast area is currently under any type of renovation. The photos online are clearly dated as well, but we are very happy you still chose to stay with us in spite of this. I did pull up your reservation and saw the amount you paid and I can promise you for West Chester, OH area on a Saturday night, and it was a same day booking there is no way you are beating the price you paid for a better hotel than ours. Our staff makes every effort to put our guests first and we sincerely hope you will still give us another chance in the future when the renovations are complete. We would be more than happy to host you again and for you to see all the improvements first hand! Thank you again for completing our survey.

Property under construction and had a nail in tire from driving into their parking lot. Asked Expedia for a refund after having to replace our tire and would be driving in and out of lot for soccer games. Expedia could not help at all. The service desk refused to refund and said that manager wouldn’t approve of a refund because we checked in. Service desk lady also was laughing about the situation. Jacuzzi was very dirty, bought my own cleaning supplies just so I could shower. Coffee maker in room was disgusting. Asked for extra pillows and they said they didn’t have any. My husband asks and he was given 2 pillows without pillow cases. And the guy refused to get us pillow cases.

Some reviewers complained about the appearance, but during my stay, there was signs of construction and improvements. The vanity in the bathroom is an obvious upgrade recently. The carpet is a little dated, but this is a minor gripe at best. Glad to see the place is getting a facelift. For $91 for a weekend night stay, this seems like a solid place to stay.

We apologize for the pool being closed. Unfortunately a child became sick in the pool and for the safety of our other guests we had to close it until our maintenance person could attend to treating the pool. We reserved a Jacuzzi room and before we could even use the Jacuzzi the ceiling started leaking water from the room above and we had to be moved in a room without a Jacuzzi with no refund given at the time. I'm supposed to contact the manager on Monday and hopefully they will refund the amount for the room we ended up getting.

Mr. Shroyer, as I stated on the phone I am so sorry we were unable to accommodate you in the room you originally booked. Unfortunately with it being Valentine’s Day weekend all of our other Jacuzzi rooms were booked and we didn’t have another one to place you in. I do hope the adjustment to your rate was to your satisfaction and you will give us another chance.
