Dear Ann, we are happy you enjoyed your stay. Our Inn is a 50's era motel so it is definitely vintage. We are in the process of doing updates where possible. In fact, your room has a brand new custom stand-up shower as well as a new 32" tv. In addition we were able to accommodate your pet as no others in Cimarron will do. Hi Anthony, I am sorry that you were not happy with the size of the room. For a few more dollars you could have stayed in one of our larger rooms. Our Inn is 75 years old, we provide a clean comfortable room at nearly half the price of the others in town. We are family owned and operated and are proud of what we provide.

Dear Joe, I am very sorry that the stay was not to your expectations. I am a bit surprised as during our several conversations all seemed to be good and no issues were discussed. In fact, when you asked about the ice machine I mentioned that we had turned off for the winter but that I was more than happy to get you as much ice as needed from our coffee shop. Your wife said that was not necessary and that all was fine. As for the pictures I am again not sure what the issue was as the pictures on Expedia are the exact pictures of the room you stayed in. We do have some larger rooms that offer more space along with a microwave and a small refrigerator but you chose to go with our smaller room. As for our pricing we are very much in line with the market in our area and are by far the most reasonable rate in Cimarron. I can not speak for Woodward, OK but am happy that you found a room and rate that met your needs.

Hi River, it is funny that you and your friends can trash our room and damage the furniture yet we are the ones who are terrible. I suspect you are upset that we charged you for the damage. You have no respect for other peoples property and have a lot of growing up to do. As mentioned in my message you are not welcome at our Inn in the future and you have been black listed in our system.

Hi Edward, I am sorry that the room was just ok. It is unfortunate that you did not notify us that you were having any issue with the heater as we would have been more than happy to assist. I have checked the room and the heater appears to be operating correctly. As for the shower this is a very old building and each room has its quirks. The shower in room 4 has a sweet spot that will stop it from dripping. It will be replaced in due time. I hope the rest of your trip was enjoyable.

Hi Keith, I hope that you and your son had a pleasant trip and that all went well with your dad. We work very hard to provide a clean room at a reasonable price. We do have it listed with Expedia as no air conditioning and have been requesting that they make that more visible. We do however get down in the low 60's to upper 50's at night so with the windows open and fan on it is generally very pleasant. I do apologize for the noisy neighbors. One of the local establishments books our rooms for the bands and sometimes they come in very late and a little loud. We will mention that to them. We hope to see you again.

Hi Vicky, we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and that we were able to accommodate you for the additional night. I am sorry that Expedia does not make it more clear that our rooms to not have air conditioning. Unfortunately they chose to only show what we do offer and not what we don't. I have brought this to their attention as we want to make sure our guest know exactly what they are getting. Thankfully due to our higher altitude and lower humidity air conditioning is not generally required as we get down in the upper 50's to lower 60's in the summer months. We will keep pushing for Expedia to provide their customers with accurate details as we do on our website when booked directly with Hikers.

We have requested that they be more forthcoming with this as we want our customers to know exactly what they are getting. We have asked that they make this more clear on their booking sites as on our direct booking site we state it multiple times that the rooms do not have AC, Regardless, the weather was beautiful during your stay with cool 50 degree nights. Dear Mary Ann I am not sure how the pictures on Expedia are misleading as they are exact pictures of the room you booked as well of our Inn. It seemed as though from the minute you arrived in Cimarron that it was not up to your expectations as there was only two places open to eat and you wanted a sit down meal. We were very kind and courteous to you and offered several suggestions for dining options. In the morning I ran into you and your husband and offered to take your key from you if you were checking out. You mentioned that you were going to breakfast prior to check out. I mentioned to enjoy your meal. When you returned I asked where you had gone and how it was. You mentioned you went to the Kit and it was fine. As I was cleaning the room next to yours you approached me to advise that no one was in the office to provide a receipt. I said no problem I can assist. I found that you had prepaid your room on Expedia that they would have provided the receipt. At that point you became belligerent and said stop talking to me. I apologized and said I did not understand why you were so upset with me. I explained that it was just my wife and I running the Inn and that we work extremely hard to provide a clean room at a reasonable price. Furthermore I offered to go print a receipt for you and while I was doing it you sped off. I dont understand what was wrong or misrepresented in our Expedia listing but you had several opportunities to mention it to me on the multiple occasions that I ran into you in the parking lot and took the time to ask how everything was. Instead you hide behind a negative review hours after leaving. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations but shame on you for not being courteous enough to tell us in person during our multiple points of contact. I hope you find what you are looking for on your Santa Fe trail journey. Best Regards,Steven
